The Gift of peace is a very good book about Cardinal Bernardin's life. the first part of the book is about When the cardinal was Archbishop in Ohio, and how he was falsely accused of sexual acts of a boy. It talks about how he deals with it and how the truth eventually comes out, and how he meets with and celebrates Mass with the young man who accused him. The second part is about how he deals with the news of getting pancreatic cancer. It explains how he goes about life and making plans for what happens once he passes. It is a fantastic book, and i highly recommend to anyone who would enjoy a Christian book.
