"The Crucible" By: Arthur Miller
"The Crucible" is a fictional story that takes place in Salem, Massachusetts during the Salem Witchcraft Trials or The Salem Witch hunts. The story is about how a girl named Abigail Williams, the leader of a group if girls in Salem, participated in witchcraft with the girls and her negro slave Tituba. When something weird is going on in Salem, she is questioned and ends up lying at it spirals out of control by killing innocent people just to keep herself from the authorities.
I chose this book because I like stories that are involved in history.
My opinion of this book is that it is excellent! Couldn't put it down!
People who like stories that are taking place in history and who like classic books would like this book! :)
