When we are creating our thread where do we put the title, the author, and everything else? When I'm creating the thread it only gives me a guest name and a subject line.

Leslie -- Below the "guest name" and the "Subject" lines it should have a box where you can type & put all your information for your review. Let me know if you don't see that!

How do we join your book club ? Hannah Hoefer All you have to do is buy the book (or find it at the library), read along with us (a schedule is posted in my book club thread), and join in the discussion. You can post your questions, responses, reflections, etc for each section as you read, and/or reply to the questions or ideas that other people post. Our first chunk is Chapters 1-4, which we're going to read by July 5th. I'm glad you're (probably) going to join us! Here's the thread: englishii.boards.net/thread/10/kalmars-book-club-lord-flies

How do I know if someone else is reading the book with me in my book club?

I was actually wondering if I could do more than just three books? Just in case that the book I wanted to read for my book club doesn't pull through. I had some great ideas for my project, and I was planning on using The Great Gatsby. I would keep on doing the book reviews as if I was doing the required amount, just with a little extra.

I have been doing my reviews on the day its due, is that okay? Or will it be counted late? I was wandering about that, because I would post earlier if it will be counted as a late grade. Thank you! Lexi Barry

How do I know if someone else is reading the book with me in my book club? That's something you need to arrange / figure out, either by planning ahead with a small group or by asking around.

Think of the assignments as the minimum! Of course you're more than welcome to read as much and post as much as you'd like! Happy reading!

Hello Ms. Kalmar! I would like to ask you about outr last book assignment, the advertisement. I would like to do a book trailer for My Sister's Keeper, and I was wondering if I could use clips from the movie in my trailer?
Thank you very much, Courtney.

Courtney -- That sounds awesome and is fine by me! Just make sure (1) you still incorporate a lot of your own creativity, and (2) give credit to the source at the end! Can't wait to see it!
