I am making a poster for my advertising and should it be like my version of the cover of the book? ?? Hi Leslie! Yes, it can certainly be your own version of the book cover. I recommend that you look at a selection of books and note the different features designers use to try to "sell" you on a book... what types of images, what words/quotes/subtitles/etc, what types of font for the title? Then use some of these elements when you design your own cover. In other words, try to avoid just picking a random scene and drawing a picture of it... your job is to persuade another teenager to pick this book up and buy it, so put some thought into it.

I was a little confused about the third book, so I looked at the directions again and my question was answered but I saw this thread and I was curious to see if there was any additional information I may have missed, and I guess there was. I didn't know that we needed to post a book review outside of the book club and I'm worried about how that'd affect that particular part of the summer reading assignments. Is there anything I could do about it now? Do you want me to go ahead and post the book review for the one that I read in the book club now? Hi Rachel, Feel free to post your book review now. Better late than never! Don't stress too much about it -- you've been very diligent about your assignments.

This will probably sound silly but since I didn't find My Sister's Keeper in the AP Level Book section in any of the links you posted, could I still do my advertisement over My Sister's Keeper and just write a review over an AP level book that I am almost done with? (I will also write a review over My Sister's Keeper). Courtney, Yes, that's fine. Your advertisement can be for any of your books -- it doesn't have to be the "AP Level" one.
